Architectural shoot for Blackrock
Our main architectural photographer Marc was booked out all of November to shoot an entirely new corporate portfolio for Blackrock Investments, based around architecture patterns and structure with a sprinkle of human elements. The shoots took place on three different continents, in the cities of New York, Shanghai, Singapore and Sydney. Each shooting lasted 3 to 4 days with coming and going and a few days of in between. It truly was a long haul.
The client in the end was very happy. When shooting architectural work, you always hope for good weather and we were very lucky in 3 out of 4 cities. It really made the shoots go so much easier. We had quite a crew even just to walk around the city and shoot simple locations in natural light: 3 representatives of the client, the agent, a few models, 2x for hair make up and driver and local producer and me could only fit in two vans.
